Communities In Schools is looking for individuals to serve as positive role models for youth, support the career and college-going culture, and advocate for youth to attain and excel in the areas of academics, life skills and career preparation in our after school programming.
A Youth Development Coach is responsible for developing and facilitating academic and enrichment programming for students. They work closely with other Youth Development Coaches and the After School Coordinator to ensure that the program runs smoothly and is delivered in an effective manner.
Must be able to work one of the following schedules and, when given advance notice, occasional Fridays. Youth Development Coaches are required to complete 16 hours of professional development per school year.
Early Start School
Monday: 2:30 – 6:30pm
Tuesday: 2:30 – 6:30pm
Wednesday: 2:30 – 6:30pm
Thursday: 2:30 – 6:30pm
Late Start School
Monday: 3:00 - 7:00pm
Tuesday: 3:00 – 7:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00 – 7:00pm
Thursday: 3:00 – 7:00pm
Base Pay: $15.00 per hour
